Romney & Taxes

So Mitt Romney paid 13.9% of his gross income in taxes. The highest marginal tax rate for a person making $80,000 was 25%. Let’s say what it cost to raise a family in the US is $40,000 (from the Children Poverty Center). That means the person who made $80,000 paid 50%!!!!!!!! of his discretionary income while ROMNEY paid 13.9% of his discretionary income in taxes.

So let me get this straight, someone making $80,000 a year has to pay 50% of his discretionary income in taxes while someone who make $21,300,000 only has to pay 13.9%?!!!!!!!!

Someone please explain to me how this is fair.
