Here’s a great video by Richard Feynman. He is going through the scientific method and he makes a lot of great points on how its applied to things likely versus things definite in science.
I feel a lot of this is applicable to how to view arguments about religious philosophies. He makes some really good points about how we know things are possible and how to deal with the inherent uncertainty of our knowledge of the universe and how to deal with it.
Anyway, its worth the 10 mins. Take a look.
