I would like to take this time to thank President Obama for his heroic and successful efforts to lower the price of gas. In reaching across the aisle to address one of the republican’s most important issues, he has set a great precedent in bipartisanship.
The republican’s had noted that the President had raised the price of gas:
“The president got his wish,” Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) announced. “He asked for $4 gasoline, he said he wanted it, he implemented policies to get us there, and now that the price is there and people across the country are furious with the prices, the president is trying to blame somebody else.”
So now the President has lowered the price of gas significantly and now it may be under $3, a decline of over 25%!
I eagerly await the plethora of praise from republicans to acknowlege the President’s attention to one of their key issues.
